About This Role

As a Lead Industrial Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workplace design at Teknion. You'll be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of designers while driving the creation of innovative and functional furniture solutions.

Your Impact

You'll contribute to every stage of the product development lifecycle, from initial concept generation to final production. Your expertise will ensure that our designs meet the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and functionality.

Leadership & Design Excellence
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive design environment.
  • Lead and manage design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of current design trends and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and marketing professionals, to ensure seamless integration of designs.
Innovation & Problem Solving
  • Generate innovative and user-centered design solutions that address the evolving needs of the workplace.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform design decisions and ensure product relevance.
  • Develop and present compelling design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and workflows.
