Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at Argcon Group Inc. as a Construction and Renovation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Construction and Renovation
- Lead and manage construction and renovation teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Oversee the installation of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify and address any quality issues or defects promptly.
- Team Management and Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled tradespeople to achieve project goals.
- Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction and renovation.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced construction and renovation environment, with frequent travel to various project sites. The work environment will be physically demanding, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
