Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Road Service Technician to join our team at Johnston Equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance checks and repairs for lift trucks and carousels at customer sites, providing consistent service and technical knowledge to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues with lift trucks and carousels
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working condition
- Diagnose and order parts according to technical manuals
- Document and analyze breakdowns based on standard procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support to customers
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent related experience
- Truck and Coach 310T Certification or Heavy Duty Technician Certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
