Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Thai Massage Therapist to join our team at Savanna Thai Massage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in massage therapy techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional client care.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a relevant trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Willingness to relocate is essential.
  • Work primarily in a private practice setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize various massage techniques including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation methods, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
  • Apply targeted pressure to specific areas of the body using fingers and hands.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding procedures, potential risks, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments administered.
  • Perform massage and kneading of muscles and soft tissues to promote relaxation and healing.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Must hold a valid Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) Certification.
Health and Safety Requirements
  • Current immunization records are required.
  • A criminal record check is mandatory.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Position may be physically demanding and involve repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
