Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Toku Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Direct and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff to ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our food preparation staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock levels and usage.

Ensure Quality Control

Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to ensure that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Address Customer Complaints

Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Maintain Records and Reports

Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 32 hours per week
