About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Documentation: Accurately assess patients' conditions, document symptoms, and monitor changes in their status to inform nursing interventions.
  • Medication Administration: Safely dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor medical apparatus and equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency.
  • Clinical Decision-Making: Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to identify appropriate nursing interventions and make informed decisions about patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an intensive care setting.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification and any other relevant certifications.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
