About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Adviser to join our team at MMJ Hotel Housekeeping and Janitorial Services Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  3. Coordinate the administration of employee benefits, including health and safety programs.
  4. Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in HR practices.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies and benefit providers.
  6. Provide training and development opportunities to employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  7. Manage employee performance and conduct performance evaluations.
  8. Develop and implement employee recognition and reward programs.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
