Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources professional to join our team at Magna International Inc. as a Human Resources Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection activities, including job postings, requisitions, and candidate interviews.
  • Lead training and development initiatives, ensuring successful completion of development plans for new and existing employees.
  • Support performance reviews, disability programs, and modified work arrangements.
  • Ensure accurate administration of employee records, including organization charts, training, and benefit information.
  • Participate in the development and updating of company policies, programs, and the Employee Handbook.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate or post-secondary education in Human Resources Management.
  • 5-10 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Automotive experience is preferred.
  • Completion of Human Resources designation (CHRP) or working towards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to read and write English fluently.
