About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at the Community Counselling and Resource Centre. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other financial tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and excellent communication skills.
