Your Opportunity:

BDO Canada is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team.

Key Responsibilities:

* In conjunction with a Manager, you will complete all aspects of client engagements and train junior team members.
* Participate in audits and reviews for various clients across diverse industries.
* Prepare working papers, financial statements, and tax returns according to Firm and regulatory standards.
* Build relationships with client contacts and respond to their requests and suggestions related to engagements.
* Identify process improvements and share knowledge and experience with other team members.
* Complete additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required.

Your Experience and Education:

* Have completed or be pursuing a professional designation (CPA)
* 2-3 years of relevant work experience in public accounting
* Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
* Display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
* Ability to work extra hours from time to time per business requirements
