About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Ruran Korean Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Food Requisition

Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Inventory Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

Culinary Expertise

Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Staff Training and Development

Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.

Supply Chain Management

Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Kitchen Supervision

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Operational Management

Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

English language proficiency.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
