About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team at Markline Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our vehicle operators and crews, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatching and Scheduling: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews, dispatching personnel according to schedules and work orders.
  • Communication and Coordination: Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work, mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Emergency Response: Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations, ensuring prompt and effective response.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Stay up-to-date with cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train, but prior experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on teamwork.
