Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a remarkable culinary experience to our guests and residents in alignment with our service ethos, Service Beyond.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times while on duty.
  • Familiarizing oneself with the menu and ingredients to make informed recommendations to guests.
  • Ensuring that food is served at the appropriate temperature.
  • Promoting daily specials and premium side dishes.
  • Effectively communicating with the Food and Beverage production team regarding orders and guest inquiries.
  • Executing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment while ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Handling payments accurately and operating the point of sale system efficiently.
  • Addressing guest complaints or concerns promptly, or directing them to a supervisor or manager when necessary.
  • Ensuring that all supplies are adequately stocked prior to the start of each shift.
  • Preparing tables for guest arrival to enhance their dining experience.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to provide an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work on weekends is essential.
  • Flexibility to work in both Stoney's and Market outlets.
  • A diploma or degree in hospitality is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work full-time in Canada is required.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with restaurant point of sale systems is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work overtime is necessary.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
