Job Summary

GEMCO WOODKRAFTS LTD is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal plates and sections to form structures, laying out reference points and patterns, and operating heavy-duty metal-working machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques
  • Operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to cut, shape, and finish metal components
  • Construct patterns and templates to guide fabrication processes
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precise fit and finish
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy metal components
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language required
  • Permanent work term
