About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Auditor - Finance Professional to join our team at Entercan Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Systems and Compliance
    • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
    • Supervise and train staff on accounting systems and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, including financial statements and reports.
    • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act, or other statutory requirements.
    • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
  • Financial Advice and Guidance
    • Provide financial, business, and tax advice to clients and stakeholders.
    • Act as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College/CEGEP degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
    • Skills
      • Proficiency in accounting software, including Simply Accounting and Quick Books.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
