Utilizing a diverse set of professional and technical competencies, this role aims to minimize the occurrence of communicable diseases, injuries, and health risks; conduct technical evaluations; provide consultative and educational services; ensure that community development aligns with environmental health standards; and guarantee adherence to environmental health legislation, policies, and guidelines.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift - 08:30 to 16:30

- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent, recognized by the Board of Certification, Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors.
- Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada) issued by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors and eligibility for registration with the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.
- Teaching: Ability to instruct clients and groups effectively.
- Knowledge Integration: Merges best practices and current research to inform professional decisions.
- Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, the public, and medical staff using various communication methods.
