About the Role

Software Secured is a leading provider of Penetration Testing as a Service, with a strong presence in the cybersecurity industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Penetration Tester to join our team and contribute to the security of our clients' mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform security code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Conduct web, mobile, and network security tests to assess the security posture of our clients' applications.
  • Collaborate with our clients to develop security design reviews, threat modeling, and remediation strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies to ensure our clients receive the best possible security solutions.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in penetration testing, with a strong background in software development.
  • Expertise in one or more programming languages, including Python,.NET, Ruby, or Java.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bonus points for certifications such as OSCP or GWAPT.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer
  • A competitive base salary of $95,000 - $125,000 CAD.
  • The opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Canada, with the option to work from our Ottawa office when desired.
