Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wine Consultant to join our team at our Angry Otter at 248th Liquor Store in Langley, BC. As a Wine Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, coaching, and training for our team members and guests, while ensuring safety is a top priority in carrying out daily job duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement educational and creative programs in our liquor store for both team members and guests.
- Support private functions in the tasting center.
- Maintain a booking calendar for the tasting rooms for educational classes and private functions.
- Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence.
- Experience hosting wine seminars and public events is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to manage computer files efficiently.
- Effective planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings till 8pm, with open availability.
