Culinary Specialist

Leto's Steak and Seafood House Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Education Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
This role is set in a bustling restaurant located in an urban area, with a focus on both steak and seafood dishes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with dietitians or chefs to create special meals for patients.
- Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of food and supplies.
- Ensure the kitchen and work areas are kept clean and organized.
- Experience in Canadian, Greek, Italian, Vegetarian, Gluten-free, and Mediterranean cuisines is preferred.
- Possession of a personal vehicle is necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Dependability and reliability are essential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience is required.
