Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at ADP Transport Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding and metal fabrication tasks, ensuring high-quality results and meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal to required dimensions.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to shape metal components.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Work Environment:

The Welder will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
Working Conditions:

The Welder will work in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment with exposure to outdoor conditions.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

The Welder will work 30 hours per week in a permanent position.
