Job Title: Welder

Advance Sheet Metal Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and wear steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
