Job Title: Construction Manager

Tidal Coast Construction Limited is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Construction Manager to oversee the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control to ensure high-quality construction projects.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to manage projects and communicate with clients.
  • Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings to ensure projects are constructed according to plans.
  • Plan and manage budgets to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure high-quality construction projects.
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions.
  • Prepare reports to communicate project progress and status to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and staff.
  • Proficiency in CADD and other computer software systems.
  • Ability to read blueprint, schemas, and drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
