The Automotive Dismantler plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our facility at AUTO PARTS NETWORK. This position requires a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, ensuring that all components are inspected and refurbished to meet quality standards.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
The successful candidate will work in a repair setting, engaging with various automotive components and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of products to identify repair needs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to repair or replace defective parts.
- Perform testing and adjustments on repaired items to ensure optimal functionality.
- Calibrate products using appropriate hand tools.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks to uphold equipment performance.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Examine auto parts for any defects or issues.
Experience with forklifts is essential for this role.
Safety and SecurityA criminal record check will be required for this position.
Transportation RequirementsA valid driver's license is necessary for this role.
Physical DemandsThe position may involve handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
