Petro Service Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Equipment Technician to join our team in Newfoundland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing car wash equipment and related systems throughout the province.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Travel to customer locations to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for car wash equipment, including coin-operated wash bays, rollovers, and full-sized tunnel car wash systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with car wash equipment and related systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on high-pressure pumps, hydraulics, and compressors.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless delivery of services to our customers.
**Requirements**
- Must be mechanically inclined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting car wash equipment, electrical knowledge, and expertise are considered assets.
- Previous experience with mechanical repair of high-pressure pumps, hydraulics, and compressors is an asset.
- High energy, self-motivated, and positive attitude are essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and excel in a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong customer service experience with the ability to multi-task.
- Minimum high school education; post-secondary education in electronics or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract are required.
- Willingness to travel and work on-call (rotation) and overtime is necessary.
