Loss Prevention Officer

London Drugs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting our stores and assets from loss and theft.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveillance and investigations to identify areas of loss and develop strategies to prevent them
  • Work closely with our security team to maintain the overall security of our locations
  • Identify and apprehend individuals committing criminal offenses against the company
  • Secure evidence, write reports, and prepare documents for court testimony
  • Participate in special assignments, including lock repair, key control, and staff awareness and orientation
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to stay calm and respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Commitment to protecting people and property in a safe and legal manner
  • Ability to work under strict confidentiality
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to personal and professional integrity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
