Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our team as a key member of the interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing comprehensive client assessments, developing client care plans, and documenting nutritional care in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments to determine appropriate texture and/or therapeutic diet to meet client needs and nutritional requirements
  • Develop client care plans that incorporate input from interdisciplinary team members, the client, and current clinical knowledge and best practices
  • Document and maintain all aspects of nutritional care in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with current clinical knowledge and best practices in nutrition and dietetics
Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduation from a recognized degree program in Foods and Nutrition
  • Completion of a recognized internship program
  • Registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta required; Registration with Dietitians of Canada an asset
  • Experience as a Clinical Dietitian in a clinical and/or continuing care setting is required
  • Experience working with Filemaker, MealSuite, and Epic is required
  • Understanding and experience working with AHS diet guidelines
