About the Role
Soucy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the timely completion of tasks and minimize downtime.
- Manage Maintenance Inventory: Oversee the procurement and management of spare parts and materials to support maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
- Analyze and Improve Maintenance Processes: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and Maintain Maintenance Documentation: Create and update maintenance procedures, work instructions, and other relevant documentation.
- Provide Training and Support: Train new team members and provide ongoing support to ensure the maintenance team is equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
- Strong Planning and Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Technical Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with maintenance management software, CMMS, and other relevant tools and technologies.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
