About the Role
Soucy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Utilize maintenance management software to plan and coordinate maintenance tasks, including labor, equipment, parts, and materials.
- Analyze and Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: Conduct analyses to identify equipment problems and develop corrective measures to prevent future issues.
- Manage Work Orders and Inventory: Create, plan, and track work orders in the planning tool, and manage component inventories specific to equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate Major Production Shutdowns: Plan and execute major production shutdowns to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Optimize Preventive Maintenance Programs: Update and optimize preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment is properly maintained and running at optimal levels.
- Manage Purchasing and Inventory: Create purchase orders for parts required by the maintenance team and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, including production and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
Requirements
