Student Nutrition Team Lead

At the YMCA of Greater Toronto, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Student Nutrition Team Lead. This position will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our Student Nutrition Programs across the Region of Peel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with school programs, community members, and other organizations to achieve program goals.
  • Participate in fundraising activities to support program sustainability.
  • Collaborate with community-based agencies to access resources and support for program participants.
  • Communicate effectively with program locations, ensuring consistent and professional representation of the YMCA.
  • Provide leadership and support to ensure safe operation of programs.
  • Develop and prioritize program information packages as required.
  • Support volunteers and coordinate start-up of new program sites.
  • Assist with parent and student engagement opportunities to ensure program success.
  • Work with coordinators to track program data and ensure compliance with Ministry guidelines.
  • Maintain records of site visits and organize relevant forms and materials.
  • Ensure program equipment is inventoried and requests are submitted and organized.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of local community and Ontario Student Nutrition Program.
  • Understanding of public and separate school systems and field of education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a team.
  • Goal-oriented and results-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
