We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter and Meat Preparer to join our team at Steerman's Quality Meats Inc. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer demands, and prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
  • Meat Processing: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and grind meats to meet customer requirements.
  • Meat Handling and Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats, and weigh meats for sale.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate power grinders and slicing machines to prepare meats.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a butcher shop environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
