Licensed Vocational Nurse I

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse I to join our care team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with complex medical, mental health, and/or behavioral health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine vocational nursing work, providing care, treatment, and general welfare to individuals residing at our facility.
Provide basic and routine nursing tasks to promote the health of individuals within assigned areas and shifts.
Instruct direct support professionals and other staff on how to provide service and care that support individuals' medical needs.
Perform technical nursing procedures according to facility and state regulations.
Keep informed of and follow all agency, facility, and unit policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
