About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team as a Manager, Assurance and Advisory Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting and advisory services to our clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assurance and Advisory Services: Provide assurance and advisory services to clients, including audit, review, and compilation engagements, to ensure their financial statements are accurate and reliable.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team to ensure we are always providing the highest level of service to our clients.
Requirements
  • CPA Designation: Hold a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or be in the process of obtaining it.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on assurance and advisory services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including CaseWare, TaxCycle/TaxPrep, Jazzit, QuickBooks, and Sage 50.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with experience in team management and development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to clients and stakeholders.
