We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Progressive Air Services Ltd. as a Financial Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, database software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is urban, and public transportation is available.
