Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team at Phoenix Glass Calgary Inc.. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in glass installation and fabrication, ensuring high-quality results in every project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately determine project requirements.
  • Glass Measurement and Cutting: Measure, mark, and cut glass to specified dimensions.
  • Installation: Assemble and install prefabricated glass products, mirrors, and other glass items with precision.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Finishing Touches: Smooth rough edges using appropriate tools such as belt sanders or smoothing wheels.
  • Machine Setup: Set up and adjust finishing machines for glass and glass products.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
