Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Subcontractor Selection: Identify and select qualified trade subcontractors for various tasks.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and submit detailed budget estimates for construction projects.

  • Contract Management: Prepare contracts and negotiate any necessary revisions or changes.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings accurately.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a keen attention to detail. The role involves working in various locations and managing projects with a budgetary responsibility ranging from $1,500,001 to $4,000,000.

Qualifications
  • Education: Must possess a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction trades is required.
  • Supervisory Skills: Ability to supervise a team of 3-4 individuals effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Mac OS.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are necessary.
