Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced police constable to join our CPKC Police Service team. As a police constable, you will be responsible for delivering police services to our rail network, ensuring the safety and security of our employees, customers, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Safety: Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and prevent crime.
  • Crime Prevention: Identify and address potential crime risks to prevent incidents.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations and incidents on our rail network.
  • Investigations: Conduct investigations into crimes and incidents on our rail network.
  • Collaboration: Work with other law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices.

Requirements

  • Citizenship: Must be a Canadian citizen.
  • Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Police Training: Must have completed and passed full basic police recruit training with a recognized police service in Canada.
  • Experience: Must be a current, sworn police constable in good standing with a recognized Canadian federal, provincial, municipal, or First Nations police service.
  • Skills: Must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
