Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Buckerfield's in Parksville, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks related to customer service, store management, retail loss prevention, and ensuring customer satisfaction on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  2. Manage store operations, including inventory, merchandising, and visual displays
  3. Develop and implement strategies to prevent retail loss and reduce shrinkage
  4. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
  5. Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in retail management
  7. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset
