Job Title: Residential Construction Painter

We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Painter to join our team at Proper Care Services Inc. As a Residential Construction Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint to interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Advise clients on color choices and provide recommendations for wall coverings.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
  • Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

As a Residential Construction Painter, you will work in various locations, including residential homes and construction sites. You will be required to work on-site, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a high-quality finish.
