Project Accountant Job Description

At Exp Global Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our Finance team in Ottawa, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate billing and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Prepare financial reports, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Arrange for billing for services and manage accounts payable.
  • Assist with project cash flow and financing requirements.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Accounting (AP/AR/Billing) knowledge.
  • Enrolled in CPA program is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with independent work habits.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

What We Offer:

  • $63,500 annually / 37.5 hours per week.
  • Permanent employment Full-time / Day.
