Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health and Addictions Support Worker to join our team at the Red Fish Healing Centre in Coquitlam, BC. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide support and guidance to clients with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor clients' progress and provide emotional support and counseling as needed.
- Participate in the admission, case planning, and discharge process for clients.
- Establish rapport with clients and provide assistance with daily living activities.
- Coordinate services with medical professionals and community resources.
- Act as an advocate for clients and provide information on community services.
Qualifications
- Diploma from a recognized Social Services Support Worker educational program.
- Two (2) years' recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
