About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Professional to join our Healthcare Division in Canmore, AB. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide access control and monitor restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents that occur during your duties.
  • Monitor patient safety and document incidents as required.
Requirements
  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing work.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven de-escalation skills.
  • Calm and confident under pressure, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
  • Availability to work 4 on, 4 off rotation, either 0700-1900 day shifts or 1900-0700 night shifts.
