Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Indigenous History or Canadian History, with a focus on Public History and its applications.
- Contribute to the development of our Honours and Master's internship programs, fostering research, teaching, and knowledge dissemination among the Department of History and local museums, archives, and heritage organizations.
- Engage in research and scholarship, with a focus on Indigenization and decolonization in museums, archives, and heritage organizations.
- Participate in departmental and university service, including administrative duties and committee work.
Requirements
- PhD in History or a related discipline, or near completion.
- Strong commitment to scholarship and its dissemination.
- Experience in teaching at the post-secondary level.
