Position Overview
The Department of History at the University of Regina invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Indigenous History or Canadian History. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in these areas, as well as engage in research and service activities.The Department is particularly interested in candidates who have expertise in the public dissemination and preservation of history through museums, exhibits, and other relevant sites. A specialization in Public History is desirable, and candidates with an interest in enhancing the Department's Honours and Master's internship programs through collaborations with local museums, archives, and heritage organizations will be considered favourably.

Position Requirements
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Possess a PhD in History or a related discipline, or be close to completing a PhD.
- Show a strong commitment to scholarship and its dissemination.
- Possess experience in teaching at the post-secondary level.
- Engage in administrative duties within the Department of History, the Faculty of Arts, and the wider university community.
