We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing corporate client financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents
  • Bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
  • Payroll and related filings
  • Preparation of GST/QST and HST returns
  • Personal income tax returns

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a College or University accounting or bookkeeping program
  • Bilingual is a requirement
  • Accounting experience with a small to mid-size business or professional firm would be an asset
  • Computer skills including Excel, Simply Accounting and Quickbooks
  • Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of a client-focused environment
