As a trusted advisor, you'll nurture our existing clients and usher in new ones, turning insurance from a mere business deal into a life-enhancing experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to meet our customers' individual needs, offering solutions to their unique situations and risks.
  • Meet challenging personal and team sales targets, leveraging your expertise to drive results.
  • Efficiently complete and issue insurance applications and certificates, ensuring seamless internal or external keying processes.
  • Build and maintain dynamic, professional relationships with key underwriters, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Resolve client concerns and complaints with professionalism and deep product knowledge.
  • Master the use of Applied Rating Services or Company Portals to provide accurate quotes to our potential clients.
  • Represent our company at industry functions, showcasing your expertise and professionalism.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes, driving continuous learning and growth.
  • Participate in training initiatives, contributing to the development of our team and the company.

Requirements for Success

  • Possess a RIBO License (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) in good standing, with other provincial licenses a plus.
  • Hold more than 2 years of industry or personal lines experience, preferably in group sales or affinity sales.
  • Have extensive experience with Major Domestic Personal Lines Markets like Aviva, Intact, Economical, and others.
  • Be a sales expert with a knack for quotes, driven by delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Exhibit professional presentation and understanding of the personal insurance business in a sales-driven environment.
  • Thriving in a high-volume environment, with proficiency in broker management systems like EPIC & ARS.
  • Quickly learn the HUB business model and value proposition, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Hold a professional insurance designation like CAIB, CIP, CRM, or similar.
