About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Brockville Barburrito. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Prepare and package take-out food to meet customer expectations
  • Provide exceptional customer service at counters and buffet tables
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
  • Prepare and cut vegetables and fruit for menu items
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Handle heavy loads and equipment
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure to meet customer demands

We offer a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
