Location: Kitchener, Ontario
Salary: $49.35 per hour, with starting rates aligned to qualifications and experience, along with merit-based salary progression.Job Overview & Responsibilities:The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Base Engineer and/or Production Manager, ultimately answering to the Director of Maintenance. This role involves overseeing the execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on a daily basis. Qualifications:
  • Valid AME license in good standing with Transport Canada
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Previous supervisory experience is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Westwind 1124A, Navajo Chieftain, and Metro/Merlin aircraft is beneficial
  • Experience with Aircraft Maintenance Systems (AMS) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities
  • Commitment to adhere to company policies and promote a safety-oriented culture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Duties:
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul, and alteration of aircraft and related products
  • Monitor inspection, repair, and modification processes, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Report significant modifications to the Director of Maintenance
  • Assist in managing AMO staff and resources
  • Ensure availability of necessary parts, materials, tools, and equipment for maintenance tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace and equipment
  • Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities
  • Update other departments regarding aircraft availability
  • Provide training and mentorship to Apprentice AMEs
