Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at EASTMAN LOGISTICS LTD.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, including developing specific plans to prioritize tasks, organizing tasks to accomplish work, and overseeing operational logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and organize tasks to accomplish work
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization, including planning and organizing operational logistics
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Work Environment:

The Logistics Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The hours of work are 30 to 35 hours per week.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

The Logistics Supervisor will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.

Support for Youths:

The Logistics Supervisor will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
