SQF Compliance Specialist

Cerelia Bakery Canada LP is seeking a highly skilled SQF Audit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of our SQF program.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement SQF systems and procedures to ensure compliance with SQF Food Safety Code requirements.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify and address potential food safety hazards and non-conformances.
- Lead and participate in investigations of food safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Train and educate employees on SQF principles and procedures to foster a culture of food safety awareness.
- Stay up to date on the latest SQF requirements and best practices in food safety.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing with a focus on food safety.
- Completion of HACCP training course.
- Proven understanding of SQF Food Safety Code V9: Food Manufacturing and its implementation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in conducting SQF Audits.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise SOPs and Policies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
