LTO French Core and Immersion Planning Time Teacher

Job Summary:
The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking a qualified French Language Teacher to fill a Long-Term Occasional (LTO) position for planning time. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and assessing program curriculum in French.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and assess program curriculum in French
- Plan and prepare lessons for students in grades 2-6
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
- Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
Requirements:
- French as a Second Language (FSL) Part 1 qualification
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and assess program curriculum in French
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
